This was quite a prestigious school academically as only the top percent of the elementary school children get to come here. We then watched some students in a local museum practicing Mexican dance and ended the night in the square listening to a band and watching couples doing a slow traditional dance that originated in France, then went to Cuba and finally came to Mexico. A wonderful day.

A Super School Visit in Veracruz
Today we visited a secondary school in Veracruz. We all agreed it was a great experience. We got to practice our Spanish, the students tried out their English and we networked with the teachers. We were treated to a hilarious story telling activity by Leo which was culminated in enjoying an end of year Mariachi band with the students. Oh did I mention we had two students welcome us playing guitars and "Welcome to the Hotel California? "
