We started the day visiting the point where Cortez landed in Mexico. We then traveled in pouring rain to Chachalacas Beach were we would celebrate our special day of independence from those BRITS haha.
We enjoyed a nice meal then swam in the warm waters of the gulf. When we returned to our hotel a group of us went on the veranda for dinner and I had octopus cooked in its own ink. It was delicious but very rich. Tomorrow we leave for Xalapa.
